Tina Hightower

I am a Florida Native, having moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2010 to follow my heart. I have worked the past 20 years as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, caring for premature and critically ill infants. I have always had a curiosity and love for the skin. In my early days of bedside, I led an educational skincare committee that focused on skin-friendly products that were effective and appropriate for the needs of premature infants.

My admiration for skin never left me, and more recently, I took that love and passion for the skin and completed Esthetics school in 2019. Something that struck a nerve in me was the almost daily affirmation, "beauty is pain." This is not my belief when it comes to taking care of your skin. Keeping your skin healthy while achieving desired results can occur without our skin's systematic and long-term breakdown. 

Blending my love for science and holistic practices, I chose to further my education to include certifications in corneotherapy, facial gua sha, lymphatic drainage, fascial release, unique facial massage, microcurrent, and cosmetic ingredients. 

As a Practioner of corneotherapy, I have a more profound knowledge of the skin, how it functions, how to repair, nourish, and restore the organ to its optimal functioning level. This is done by evaluating YOUR skin's needs and seeking out the root cause of any concerns or symptoms, all while maintaining the health of the epidermis.

My philosophy centers around achieving and maintaining your skin's health through really caring for the skin because proper skin health involves more than just the application of topical products... there is so much magic and wonder to be found in those deeper layers.

When I'm not in the treatment room, you can find me hanging out with my husband, friends, and two adorable dogs, enjoying all the delights the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
